“The Lost Book Of Nostradamus” (NotSoGood)

Well, I have to admit that I didn’t expect much when I saw the over-the-top promotions for the History Channel’s presentation of “The Lost Book Of Nostradamus.” Which was a “documentary” about a manuscript of writings and drawings which is believed to have been written by Nostradamus – that guy from France who said a lot of nonsensical things and claimed to see the future. But to be honest, it was considerably worse than I expected. I didn’t even watch the whole thing, because it made my brain hurt. But unless the part I missed was a good skeptical rebuttal, I’m going to say it was about the worst “history” programs I have ever seen.
First of all, all the “experts” were entirely convinced that Nostradamus was the real deal and could indeed see the future. (Unlike anyone else in history and defying the laws of science.) One or two said that there was no other conclusion that could be drawn. To be honest, I just can’t understand that. I cannot fathom that one could actually know all the writings of Nostradamus and all the interpretations and NOT realize that it’s just made up and bent to fit whatever history happens. The fact that they constantly fall back on claims like “He was using symbolism” or “Trying to explain what he saw in his historical context” really allows a lot of flexibility.
The most “amazing” thing shown was this image, which obviously is said to be an incredible prediction of 9/11:
Now the obvious: That that looks nothing like the World Trade Center. The tower is shown burning, but not having something crashed into it or falling. It’s shown with flames at all levels, unlike the WTC. And most glaring: There’s only one tower. Had this been a prediction of what he had actually seen in the future, don’t you think he’d have two towers? It looks suspiciously like a standard European castle’s tower with some flames, which no doubt happened from time to time, since much of the internal structure would have been wood.
But what if there had been no 9/11? What if the book was found in 1994 or 1998? Could an equally “amazing” prediction be drawn? I think so.
For one thing the tower looks distinctly old-worl, and is in flames. So perhaps it’s the Blitz on London or the firebombing of Germany. Many of the supposedly 9/11 predictions had previously been said to represent the Second World War. (Remember I said they were very flexible).
But what about this:
An oil well fire?
What about the towering mushroom cloud of a nuclear weapon?
Nuclear weapons were, after all, often tested on towers:
What about a rocket exploding?
Or even a zeppelin exploding next to a tower?
Here it looks almost like a tower:
Are these ideas a stretch? YES! But really any more than it showing 9/11? I don’t think so.
I didn’t really expect a balanced, skeptical or accurate account based on the sensational nature of the promotions and such. Obviously this was meant to get attention with outlandish claims. However, I was still highly disappointed, especially from the “History Channel,” a media outlet which is supposed to target a demographic which values stuff like history. Of course, the media is like any business: it operates on supply and demand hopefully more will demand actual factual coverage of history and thus it will be supplied – but I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one.

I am pretty sure they are not under a standard copyright because they come from a historic volume called “Vaticinia_Nostradami” which originated from the collection of the Italian National Library. Apparently there’s also a copy of this manuscript also in the collection of the Yale University library.

I believe some of these may also be prints from original engraved plates that are still in existence. Otherwise, the illustration may be a copy from the original manuscript that has been retraced and reinked to fix the faded color. Obviously, the original would not be on white paper as it tends to fade and get a yellow tinge with age.

nostradamus is hard to understand cause his work depends a lot of your own opinion. here’s mine…. it says of ending an era, eagle has his crown off, and the sand clock is empty. its probably slight fall of the USA cause you know from history that Russia grew stronger after that. Leo and snake barrier are constolations
over NY, and the rooster is another sign of a new dawn!!! i heard another prophecy that says “end of the USA starts when a black man becomes president” i dont think this is funny at all

Thus he would look at the astrological chart for some major event and then make a generalized prediction of what would happen the next time the planets aligned in that way. This process is called comparative horoscopy. Naturaly these predictions were obscure because they were generalized.
I am in no way supporting this theory, only pointing out that Nostradamus was attempting a rational approach in a field that was regarded as a science at the time.

I can only conclude that this prediction is of the rise of internet pornography. Before the internet, if you wanted to whack it to dirty pictures, you had to use the mail to order your smut and this could take some time, possibly only resulting in one magazine coming each month.
Now, with the rise of the internet, the post office has lost its crown and the pornography can be delivered instantly (no time expended). Thus the eagle has lost its crown and the rooster shall be choked, even as the trouser snake comes out to play.
That is obviously the true meaning of this prophetic vision.

Some of his writings that have been hailed as proof he forsaw 9/11 had previously been used as proof he forsaw the Blitz attack on London. Both of them involved fire and stuff flying and whatnot. If you twist them around and declare certain metaphors to mean something else, you can turn them into proof he forsaw the use of napalm in Vietnam or nuclear tests or the Texas City Disiaster or whatever you want.
It comes down to a simple matter of taking whichever parts as literal and which as figurative as necessary to make the statement fit a given event.

I would have to totally agree with the sceptacsm of some of these blog authors. Everything I have seen on any of the Nostrodamus shows, or appocolypse shows that use his reference, has been highly speculative. As the origianal blog author also mentioned,”First of all, all the “experts” were entirely convinced that Nostradamus was the real deal and could indeed see the future. (Unlike anyone else in history and defying the laws of science.) “, most of the views are supremely askewed, or if thats too strong, biased. One good blatently obvious example would be from the Nostradamus:2012 show on History Channel; While quoting a quatrain about on a winter solstice and then again in the spring solstice a city would be in a swamp and surrounded by crystals, (VERY PARAPHRASED!) one of the experts went on to compare it to hurricane Katrina. Wasnt that October? Nowhere near the winter soltice? And where was the spring follow up?
Just use good judgement and common sense when dabbling in any of these End of Days conspiracies or theories.

The first tower wasn’t interrupted as the twin tower, it symbolizes the end of the world. I am not saying the predictions are correct or incorrect but when you are bashing something have the correct information, or you end up looking stupid.

I could just as easily say it symbolizes the election of Bill Clinton followed by George W Bush and then Barak Obama. Does it look like that? No.. but less so than the “end of the world”
With Nostradamus the same things are said to symbolize various things and are rehashed to fit the latest events. The same writings that many said were describing the London Blitz later were said to describe the Oklahoma City bombing and then 9/11.

As is stated in the special, it might not have been Nostradamus drawing these pictures; maybe he was describing what he saw to his son, and his son is painting his descriptions. I believe that final illustration is Nostradamus looking into the future and accidentally stumbling upon a re-run of Wheel of Fortune.
He described three people around what is clearly a “Wheel of Fortune” in various colors. A hand comes down and spins the wheel (Nostradamus has no idea what “film editing” is, remember?) while a beauty turns something over. An annoying **** is crowing at this people to tell them that they have gone bankrupt or lose a turn. Oh, and there are also prizes–but apparently the prizes were drawn as lions, snakes, and crystal balls.
That one was EASY!

Foolish souls …. The tower represents the fire in Mambai India. It is not 9/11 and that is plain to see just by looking at the image. These experts are not looking at these images properly. Just like some of his past writtens … the experts are so full of themselves that the true message will not be seen in time to save the christian world.
The lost Book is here because the John Hogues in the world have screwed up what Nostradomus has written. The book is a warning to the Christian World and if we can not see what he and the Mayans have shown us. These were never predictions but truth of the future, that was shown to Nostradomus. How is it possible that Nostradomus and the Mayans saw the same events? Two different cultures, time periods, locations and languages …… These are all acts of the Divine Ones … that both had spoke off and yet all the experts have ignored that fact. I Challenge anyone of those so-called experts to a debate on these findings. 2012 is going to hit the christian world like a ton of bricks and we will all be saying “why did this happen”? How come we did not see this? And yet it is all right there in front of your face .. each page of the book shows you all the events as they unfold. The tower on fire is the hotel in Mambai India .. Nostradomus is showing you all that the images are of the present and not the past.

I believe History will show Nostradamus’s wheel of time is the New Circle of Fifths in music theory based on the Unified Field Theory equation that changed physics in the music industry three years ago by establishing an initial inertial frame of reference for Mass and the DNA’S Gene Ensemble Summery Instance location “wheel” indicated by the hour glass above the octave of tonal (sensory) space and “God’s hand of infinite Mass” powering (gravity) the weak force Mass oscillation cycle that creates time and the atom’s particle wave point structure of matter.
The New Circle of Fifths was created accidentally by trying to get the DNA’s Gene Ensemble Mass Instance Location Summery to mirror the Old Circle of Fifths both mathematically and in sense of it’s musical key signature interactions, it’s known language of sound sensation. It was thought that the problem was with the DNA’s Gene Ensemble caused by trusting the proven structure of the Old Circle of Fifths. Adding Mass, the Observer mentioned by Einstein and others but not added to mathematics, the atomic weight of Consciousness, replaced the question mark shown in the Gene Ensemble. That was easy as what was missing was obvious and clearly shown in the DNA X-Ray.
From there it took almost three years to realize the old Circle of Fifths had time crashing into it itself and lacked the space needed to solve this problem. The mathematics and mechanical solution was quite simple compared to solving the Unified Field Theory equation and the New Circle of Fifths is “T” in the equation created by Mass oscillating in two directions, up and down, within the weak force and represents the past observation space created within the strong force. The New Circle of Fifths is undisputable because the laws of music theory is well known and proven, and since it is a product of DNA research the same must apply to the Gene Ensemble. The New Circle of Fifths correctly places all the notes in tonal space relative to time showing the number of sharps and flats which number 22 not counting base or middle C, as well as all the minor keys. It expands the old Circle of Fifths and adds an important new feature, harmonic tonal Mass oscillation space direction.
Space is relative to time and this applies to both the DNA’s Gene Ensemble Summery Location map as well as the New Circle of Fifths. Mathematically they are identical and only the language of two sciences separates them. The physics of Mass oscillation and sensory perception observed in the laws of music theory remain exactly the same but can now be understood in relation to time. The effect of this discovery to music theory, quantum physics, and DNA research will be phenomenal.

BTW, The guy holding up the wheel looks like Sir Isaac Newton. Consciousness has Mass in oscillation and this is what creates time and matter. Nature repeats itself endlessly and when you catch on to this it makes learning and figuring physics and science comprehensible.
2012: Point’s of observation increase exponentially. Space is going to do what it does every second but on a huge scale and fold to create the next higher octave frequency of space to hold time’s past points of observation. Like formatting a hard drive into smaller data sectors. We will notice a relative increase in dark matter as well as an increase in gamma ray burst energy levels, but just another day as far as Earth goes. Before you say this is impossible remember what was initially said about the impossible GR energy levels detected by accident and not talked about much because they could not be explained before the UFT was solved.

THE ANTICHRIST.
Many African American Women have been a Victim of this Vicious Killer, in Both sides the Law. And the government is putting innocent people in Prison, many young girls are the victims of this Killer. It is hard for me to count how many people could be in Prison because of this Killer. I would like for you to hear my complains and story that should be spread Nationwide, and most likely The FBI will probably tell you a different story.

Has many cases of Serial Murders and burial sites. Apparently someone else has been killing, because many innocent people were blamed for those killings. This killer like to put evidence onto another in those mass killing since this killer was a Truck Driver and smuggling Drugs for the Narcotrafic. I got involved in this case because I reported a serial killer, at the same time I didn’t know I was taking my own freedom and the only way I have is for my act of good faith is been successfully with the media and the Country.
I started reporting this to the FBI around october in 2009, a guy who I believe was the serial killer in New Mexico, the town of Mesa. In the beginning I didn’t have the killer’s name all i had was just stories and conversations. The beginning was with a nail with one of dead girls in the mass murder, I spent a lot of time in the African-American community and they liked that I have gotten into the investigation reading about one girl caught my attention the same girl i saw was black the one in the FBI identified with my information ,they described with a problem in the leg i went to look for information in the oakland neighborhood in that community a few guys identified this girl with a picture in a web site of the police i called the FBI again to cold case they didn’t want to believe it. Since i knew the killer’s friends and i knew him myself I started my own investigation which revealed an atrocity nation wide and different countries this one is very hard to believe and people are probably going to call me crazy or nuts. I also reported this to the oakland police station homicides to Sergeant Baza and Sergeant Parkinson. They were really helpful in the last days of my investigation because i found a place and a picture of the killer in the internet and, I made a chronology of this killer based in comments of the killer’s friends and real conversations with the killer and many events happened in the place he would live. In the internet I found real names and mass killings in many different places. I have to make clear the killer never mentioned the word “kill” or “murder” this killer refered like parties or dates or memories with friends. I heard many conversations. I had him many times close to me, I knew this guy came from a violent country in El Salvador.
The chronology I made of this killer apparently is true because the FBI arrested many of my friends in search of information and they had been trying to arrest me in a fraudulent ways plus the events happened in the narcotrafic cartels and, capos names like the barbie or chayan. Its true I’ll try to explain, its related to the narcotrafic based in names I have heard and I did not know at the time who they were.
Mesa, New Mexico was a mass killing latins girls and one African-American girl (the one was identified for my friends in the oakland community).
I continued looking for more information since the FBI didn’t want to arrest the killer. The killer got back to oakland a place where I used to work at the time. One of my friends from Brazil was helping me look for him, the killer got back to a place and company where he used to work. I used to hangout around there it was the place where I would park my truck.
The serial killer was in CALABERAS, WELSEYVILLE 1983. Miranda’s case is the name in court, the innocent in my opinion and investigation content for mass murder Charles Chitat Ng, I heard so many of my friends that this killer used to say he was working in a film studio a couple hours from oakland california. There was also a honda car found in oakland , california the owner of this car was found dead in a mass buried in Welseyville in the description of the presume buyer match the description of the killers. I found the real killer in different places the one i’m going to tell you in hope of getting help from the asian community.
I started my case with New mexico where one of the victims was living in Oakland, California i reported this to the FBI since they didn’t want to arrest the criminal. I started my own investigation nationwide in many different cases to reveal the astonish true, the one that is taking me to my own freedom since the FBI wants to arrest me in a fraudulent way.
I found a picture of this killer and a real address .
THE ADDRESS; place , Inglewood, California where I got a real address in front of the cosmopolitan church where this killer commited more than 11 murders. In the GRIM SLEEPER CASE Inglewood, Normandie Av 12436, California (see google map) is a white van truck same model that was used in the murder by description of witnesses and a green tree where I remembered the word squirrel in spanish ardilla I told the FBI he must be hiring an arm in that tree, if you zoom in the picture you will see a eighteen wheeler truck the killer was a trucker at the same time. Many times I heard the stories of my trucker friends they painted a pinto orange in different color many years ago police were looking for a ford pinto orange color also in that crime and many of the victims belong to the cosmopolitan church ,I hear the killer say he knew a pastor but he didnt say where.
I got a PICTURE of this killer in Vancouver (I replace the word W for E to avoid spam) EEE.RAVINWIRE(dot)COM is a fight with the HELLS ANGELS in the middle of the page is a picture of a African-American guy on the left behind this is a face with a bear. The killer’s name is Juan Francisco Coto from El Salvador. I believe this is the probe for PICKTONS FARM’S mass murders ,the killer said many times that he used to work in a farm full of pigs but we didn’t have any idea of the mass murder, where more than 60 people where slaughter. This vicious killer have mass murders nation wide case like Edmonton, Washington King County, Montana ( River poplar case) BARRY his name I believe is innocent. Another CANADIAN in montana in death row content for murder by the same time .
Many more case nation wide USA and CANADA borders all those case goes in a sequence other in the distance for days or hours.
The EYE BALL case here was detained by the police was identified as SPEEDY in this case appeared as defender but in reality was the aggressor the killer told me his nickname and one of them was “speedy”.
TEXAS was the murder of 2 girls, Mimi and Chocolate the authorities blamed Mr. DAVID WOOD I believe he is innocent because many times I would hear those names by co-workers teasing the killer without knowing what really happen in that place.
There are many more cases mass murders which i found relative to the killer and the list keeps going and going from city to city.
I’m asking for help to release many innocent people in prison for life other have been executed, a asian guy from Hong Kong CHARLES CHITAT NG, was a mass killing in the town of Weyseville Calaberas California a mass killing like other places a film studio the killer believed to himself was movie star i heard from his friends he used to work in a porno studio near Sonoma to stay near Oakland California where the killer lived also, the description on many witness match the killer if you paid attention in different reports like the car bought in san francisco and founded in oakland.
The killer was arrested in MARCH 26 of 2010 the american government in shame of the FBI still denied all TRUE. And Political Aspiration of the Democratic Party , too far from the Elections.
Im not asking for money, I just want to get attorneys to help release these innocents from prison its been more than 25 years or probably the Associations in fate of humans rights wants to help also and, trying to get contact of the family of this innocents, feel free to answer back.

dear science believer. GOD created all things, thus, he created science. scientists take apart GODS CREATION and, claim to have all knowledge of the universe. i took an engine apart once, doesn’t mean i invented the engine or i am an engine builder. taking apart something and learning how it works does not make one omnipotent or intelligent. you do not understand life and all their is to know because, you do not seek out GOD. if you were to seek HIM in earnest, he would reveal some things to you. then, it is up too you to accept or reject. as far as nostradamus’ prophecies, they were all made hundreds of years earlier by biblical prophets as GOD revealed to them. i believe GOD also revealed to nostradamus, just gave him a little more detail. if anything is laughable. it is your comments about nostradamus and your belief in science as your god.

Science is not our god, we have no gods. Furthermore while it is true science does not know everything, through science we know more of how the universe works than any religion ever has.
