Things are getting hot here at Depleted Cranium.  At the rate it’s going I’ll soon be sitting at the “in-crowed” table in the cafeteria.   Okay, not that kind of popular.

In the past couple of weeks the number of visitors seems to have gone supercritical.    The past few days have been averaging numbers in the 2,000-3,000 range.  And that’s not visits, that’s UNIQUE VISITORS.   Visits are up to 5 grand on a good day!   On the low end, some “slow” days are seeing less than a thousand visitors, generally as a consequence of not posting new content.

Much of the traffic seems to be coming from Digg and StumbleUpon.   But I’d like to thank everyone who’s recommended this site to their friends, family, associates, cell mates or whoever else.   With word of mouth we will soon take over the world.

Of course the high traffic has a flip side.  With a rip-roaring fire, I need to keep up feeding it fuel so it won’t burn out.   In other words, I’ll be keeping up the effort for fresh and topical content and new and exciting features.     The future looks bright!
