I’ve had 2 treatments so far and yes it is quite painful, but so worth it. I’ve got my original color back before I had Argyria and I am completely thrilled. With additional laser treatments, Dr. Popkow can treat the rest of the spots that get missed here and there. I feel what Dr. Popkow charges is very reasonable. Today, I don’t have to walk around worried about who might be wondering why my face is gray because it’s not anymore. Seriously, if you really think you can sell your product here, you’re smoking something pretty good, because this is not the kind of venue where you will get much advertising via comments. Rather, you can expect they will be received with a great deal of skepticism and generally scrutinized and jumped on pretty quickly.

No. I have no questions as to the efficacy of the internal consumption “colloidal” silver as a treatment or a prophylactic for any known medical condition. I reject this treatment outright as quackery at best, harmful at worst.

At any rate as I wrote above topical silver treatments have been around for years, this does not validate any claims for internal use.

Household bleach will kill bacteria of all sorts in vitro testing, that does not serve as any indication that there would be any benefit to drinking it.

As for your assertions about the amount that would be have to be spilled to create a hazard, so what? That doesn’t speak to the medical effectiveness of your product.

“The Horowitz Paper

The Horowitz paper actually made me laugh out loud, it cheered up my day. The fact that someone would think that we were important enough to write a conspiracy theory about ABL is hart warming and means that our hard work may be paying off. The statements he made were poorly researched at best. For anyone that would like to check the facts our new improved and easier to use website will be up in the next few weeks as we change all the information over to the new format. The picture he talks about in his paper is right out of the world renowned material scientist, Rustum Roy’s (et. al) peer reviewed and published, material science report. Could someone actually think that the number one ranked material science lab in the world at Penn State University (and three other universities that worked on the paper), would doctor up a picture, for a small no name company? How unfortunate and short sited! I have only had one call on the paper and that was from a client of mine. Horowitz sells a mediocre product and has sour grapes because a man would not put him on the radio, because he has no real data on any real test work (on his product) to talk about. The US Patent office does not grant patents unless you prove to their satisfaction, that your item or technology is different than every other product or technology out on the market. The fact that the patent office issued a number of patents to American Biotech Labs (see patent number 7,135,195 on the US patent web site), is direct evidence that the ABL silver product technology is different and again that his argument is without basis. Why in the world would any of the US government guys or a major radio host team up with a very small unimportant (but very hard working) no name silver company out of Utah, to run a big conspiracy, the idea is just idiotic. It took us more than four years and millions of dollars to gain an FDA clearance for wound care, with our silver gel product. We worked very hard to get that clearance, and now can make claims for use on burns, cuts, diabetic ulcers etc. etc., even against bacteria like staph infection bacteria / MRSA. We had to have thousands of independent tests completed on our products to gain EPA approval. The ABL silver product had to be able to kill hundreds of thousands of bacteria (with 100% kill) within 10 minutes on almost every single test. Because our products are so effective we were able to do pass those tests with just 32 ppm of silver product, with no other additives. No other company has ever done that before or since. The product tested so effective we not only received disinfectant status, but we were able to achieve hospital disinfectant status. It again took us years to complete all the testing and tens of thousands of dollars to get the EPA approvals. CDC also listed Silver Sol as able to kill the flu virus! Also did we mention that the Surgeon General of the Airforce said quote of section 14 of the 2005 congressional testimony “That it will kill anthrax, sars, and the bubonic plaque and that the US government should put it in”

No, you don’t get to cite “studies” without giving the actual study. Don’t tell me that there’s “studies” but tell me the exact study – the journal it’s in, the volume number and ideally a link to it. I won’t argue with second hand accounts of some “studies” which are not cited.
